A blog on your villa website: posts, categories and a blog page
Write posts about your area, sort them into categories and publish them in every language of your site. Search engines and AI assistants can find them.
A guest planning a week in Kalkan wants to know which coves are quiet and where to eat. Now you can tell them on your own villa website. Write a post such as “Hidden coves near the villa”, put it in a category such as “Beaches” and publish it. TurizmPlus builds the blog pages for you.
Who is it for?
Villa owners and rental teams who want to share local tips and travel advice on their own website, without a separate blog tool.
Writing posts
- One screen: the new Blog screen has the tabs Posts, Categories and Blog home. The post list shows which languages are live.
- Photos with descriptions: click Add photo, pick one from your media library or upload it, and describe it, or mark it as decorative.
- Writing help: in English or Turkish, a help icon beside the title, summary and text shows good and bad examples. In another language, Translate fills the field from your main language, and a sparkle button suggests a photo description.
- SEO checklist: the Search and sharing panel checks the cover photo, photo descriptions, at least 300 words, a heading, a category and a summary of 50 to 300 characters. These are suggestions and never block publishing.
- First publish date: a post always shows the day you first published it. Later edits don’t change it.
On your website
- Blog, category and post pages: posts appear newest first, 12 per page, with a button for each category. A post shows its cover photo, date, reading time and a More posts row.
- Every language: write and publish each post per language, with its own web address if you like. Visitors using an old address are sent to the new one.
- Latest posts block: add it to any page from the Content group in the page editor. Choose a category, 3, 6 or 9 posts, and whether to link to all posts.
Easy to find
Each post is published as an article with its date, cover photo and breadcrumb trail, so search engines understand it. Your site also offers an RSS feed at /rss.xml. AI assistants can find your posts too: they are listed with title and summary in the guide your site offers them.
How to use it
- Open Website, then Blog in the Content Manager menu.
- On Blog home, click Turn on blog. It starts as a draft, so your site doesn’t change yet. Click Edit blog home and publish it when ready.
- On Categories, click New category, for example Beaches, and publish it.
- On Posts, click New post, enter a title and pick a category.
- Write the summary, choose a cover photo and write the text. Changes save as you type.
- Click Publish with the language code, for example Publish EN. Use the language buttons at the top for the other languages.
The AI buttons need AI to be connected under Integrations. Archive hides a post but keeps it.
