Commission rates per season, villa or owner
Set your commission on the owner, then change it for one villa or one season. Each booking keeps the rate it was made with, so old bookings never change.
Your commission no longer has to be one number per owner. Set it on the owner, change it for one villa, or for one season of that villa. Every booking keeps the rate it was made with.
For example, an owner has two villas in Kalkan and pays you 20%. For the smaller villa you agreed 15%. In high season you want 25% on both. A guest from the UK checking in on 12 July is booked at 25% in either villa. A guest checking in on 5 May is booked at 20% in the first villa and 15% in the second.
Who is it for?
Agencies and managers who earn a commission on each stay and agree different terms with different owners, villas or seasons.
Which rate is used?
For each new booking, TurizmPlus looks at the check-in date and takes the first rate it finds:
- The season covering the check-in date, if it has its own rate.
- The villa, if it has a special rate.
- The owner, as set in Owners.
The check-in date decides for the whole stay: a booking that starts in high season keeps the high-season rate to the end. Rates are whole percents from 0 to 100.
Old bookings do not change
- A booking keeps its rate. The rate is saved on the booking when it is made, so later changes to the owner, villa or season affect new bookings only. Moving a booking to another villa or another check-in date works out the rate again.
- Bookings made before this update were fixed at their owner’s rate on the day of the update.
In the pricing editor
- Commission tab: under Pricing, choose the owner’s rate or a special rate for the villa. The tab also shows how the money is split between you and the owner. With 30% paid to you at booking, 70% paid to the owner on arrival and a 20% commission, you keep 20% and send 10% to the owner.
- Season rate: every season has a Commission choice: the villa’s rate or Special rate for this season.
- Table view: in Seasons & prices, switch from Cards to Table, click a price, the minimum nights or the commission to change it, then Save Changes.
- Clearer menu: the villa editor’s menu is now grouped into Listing, Pricing & calendar and Advanced.
How to use it
- Open Owners, open the owner and fill in Commission Rate (%).
- For one villa, go to Pricing › Commission, choose Special rate for this villa and click Update Property.
- For one season, open it under Seasons & prices and choose Special rate for this season.
A villa without its own rate takes the owner’s, so pick an owner under General first.
