Find villas on the map: price tags and a list that follows
Villas show as price tags on the search map. Guests tap one to open its card, and the results list follows as they move the map. Phones open on the list.
A guest from the UK searches for a 7-night villa stay in Kalkan. Beside the results list, the map shows each villa as a price tag. The guest drags the map toward the next bay, and a moment after they stop, the list shows the villas in that area. Tapping a tag opens the villa’s card on the map.
Who is it for?
Villa businesses whose guests search by place, not only by list.
What guests see
- Price tags and dots: The map shows up to 25 price tags at a time, starting with the villas on the current results page. Where tags would overlap, the other villas become small dots. Zoom in and their tags return.
- The card’s price: Tags are worded like the cards, either the total for the dates or the price per night, following your card setting. For villas on the results page, the tag shows the card’s figure. With dates chosen, a villa that is not on the page can show a sample-stay price until its card is opened.
- No more piles: A villa set to show an approximate area gets its own spot inside that area, so villas in one town do not sit on one point. The exact address stays private.
- Tap to see the card: A tag or dot opens the same card as the list, with a heart to save the villa. On a computer it floats next to the pin; on a phone it sits at the bottom of the map. An approximate villa’s card says Approximate location.
- The list follows the map: Move or zoom the map and the list shows that area’s villas. There is no button to press, and a Loading… note shows while it updates.
On phones
The list comes first. The Map button at the bottom opens the map. There, the same button shows the number of results and returns to the list.
How to set it up
- Go to Website → Site Settings → Search results, set Availability results view to Map and results and click Save search results.
- Go to Website → Site Settings → Property cards, choose Total for the dates or Price per night under Price on the card and click Save card settings.
- For each villa, open Properties, then Location. Under Public map, choose Approximate area or Exact pin.
